Embroidered "Gardener" Tea Towel

This large, vintage tea towel is embroidered with a sweet teddy bear trimming his lawn. Below him is the word "Gardener". The towel measures 34 1/2" wide by 32" long. The towel is a creamy white cotton fabric. The fabric must have originally been a sugar sack because I can barely make out the words "California", "Sugar" and "San Francisco" beneath the red outline of a building with the word "Granulated" lightly printed on the back of the towel.

This tea towel appears to have never been used. It is a lovely piece of California history.
